- Law Courts next door and to the south of the property.
- Purdy's Wharf, on the other side of the Halifax
Mariott.
- ‘FREE' meter parking is available after 6:00pm throughout the downtown streets.
Proximity to Pedway and Public Transportation?
- The Downtown Pedway system can be accessed through the
Halifax Marriott which is located next door to the north of the property. Visitors can also access the pedway system through the Barrington Place Shops, which are located on the other side of Hollis Street , just one block up from the property.
- Historic Properties is just a stone's throw away from the Halifax Ferry Terminal to the
South of the property. Ferries arrive and depart on a half-hour basis between Halifax-Woodside and Halifax-Dartmouth.
- Bus transportation is available from Ferry Boat Lane . Ferry Boat is located one building south of Historic Properties. |
Wheelchair Accessible?
- Historic Properties is wheelchair friendly. With most shops and restaurants located on the ground floor of the property, elevators are available to transport visitors in wheelchairs to the upper levels.
ATM?
- There is an Automatic Teller Machine located on the ground level of the Market Mall as well as outside the front entrance to the Lower Deck, Privateers' Warehouse.
What holidays is the property closed?
- Although the exterior public areas of Historic Properties are OPEN seven days a week, year-round, there are a few holidays when the Retail and Food & Beverage sectors are closed. These holidays include New Years' Day , Good Friday , Remembrance Day , Christmas Day and Boxing Day . Hours of Operation vary by the season.
